Glad to be Home
We left Seattle at 5:30 on Friday morning, finally on the road home. We arrived in Anchorage mid-day for an appointment with the cardiologist there. Sarah did well and had the stitches removed from where her chest tubes were taken out. It appears she even gained some weight in the last few days.
We arrived in Fairbanks in the evening and were very glad to see the boys there waiting for us at the airport with Jan. Both boys have grown and changed, even in just a couple of weeks. They looked great, and we had quite a reunion.
The season has also advanced quite a bit here in Fairbanks since we’ve been gone. All of the leaves here have turned a golden yellow, and the yard is already covered in them. It is a little gray and rainy, and winter is surely on the way.
We are glad to be home.
